24th Anniversary

I was just directed to make the same blog posting* that I make every year on this date (or close to it). Ok, here it is.

Let it be known that I gave my wife 20 beautiful flowers from a meadow (Wiesn) in Munich. I would have bought 24, but the 0.5 liter bottles came only in a case of 20.

*The bride now requests that the posting from 2002 be corrected from "she arrived in July, with ... nothing in her pocket" to "she arrived in July, with ... just $2000 in her pocket" (earned by delivering the Sunday papers Bild am Sonntag and Welt am Sonntag). It doesn't make any difference, by September the money was spent.
