Mixwit (as seen at TechCrunch and Gigold) is a fun little toy to create virtual mixtapes for free (by searching for mp3 files on Seeqpod). You can also decorate a widget cassette tape where the wheels spin when the music plays. Cute.

I tried to remember songs I was listening to in 1979, between my junior and senior years in high school, although after 29 years my memory has surely gone bad. It's the mood that counts.
